The CRB Women's Ministry offers a wide variety of programs, small groups and events to help you take that first step towards getting connected (and we recognize sometimes it can be pretty intimidating). MOPS Celebrating Motherhood, Meeting Needs, Making Connections, Experiencing God's Love...
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and it is specifically designed for moms. At MOPS, you will experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope, all to help you be the best mom possible! You can expect to find intimate discussion in a safe small group atmosphere, practical and life applicable teachings, and creative activities that will give you a sense of accomplishment! Meetings will begin Tuesday, September 23, 9:30-11:30am, and will meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Childcare will be available. NEW WISE UP! Beth Moore 4-Week Study for Fall
Thursdays beginning September 4, 6:30-9:00pm (next studies to include: Wisdom for Moms, Wisdom With Words, The Wisdom of Restraint, Wisdom to go Your Way in Safety). No homework! Join us for a 4-week study on wisdom from the book of Proverbs to be held at the home of Jody Cates (in Rancho Penasquitos).  We'll also share a light snack/dinner together. Wanted:  Women’s Hostess Teams
We've started a brand new program called Women's Welcome Groups within the women’s ministry aimed at helping new women to CRB get connected more quickly.  To get this program off the ground we’re looking for several sets of 2-Women Hostess Teams to help welcome these new women during a 3-month commitment.  Interested?  Find out what’s involved.

Scrapbooking
Fridays, 5-11pm September 26, October 17, November 14, (skip December) January 16.
Join us for scrapbooking and good conversation and get the opportunity to meet some new faces. Bring your photos, supplies and ideas and a snack to share. Bunco Game Night
Friday, September 19, 6:30-8:30pm
This game doesn’t require any special skills, can be taught in minutes, and has the ability to create instant friends.  If you’d like to join us, just RSVP to Sue Ann McCarthy at Suwann1@aol.com / 858.592.6634 and come on the night of the event (bring your friends). $5.00 covers the cost of the evening and we’re asking everyone to bring a snack to share so there'll be plenty of food. Card Ministry
Our Card Ministry is specifically designed for those of you that wish to use your creativity to encourage others. You’ll meet once a month to help assemble cards that lift up, inspire or celebrate various milestones and events in the lives of members of CRB. Women's One-on-One Discipleship Ministry
Would you like to grow closer to God? This ministry is for the woman who is looking to strengthen her Christian walk and get the opportunity to be paired up with a seasoned sister-in-Christ. You'll participate in a one-on-one, five week mini Bible study that will review the Lessons on Assurance that God promises you including Assurance of Salvation, Answered Prayer, Victory over Sin, Forgiveness and Guidance. Set Free House
Help the 20+ women at Set Free House North County as they work each day to get closer to Jesus and assimilate back into society. Ways to get involved include being a part of periodic Bible and book studies as well as special projects including providing Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas gifts, Food and Clothing Drives. Women's Ambassadors
Look for us in the lobby each weekend. The goal of the ambassadors is just to make women feel welcome - you know how scary it can be to walk up and talk to someone you don't know - especially if you feel EVERYONE knows EVERYONE else. We have many new women coming to CRB each week and we want for them to be able to talk to someone who can help them find out about upcoming Women's Events. If you have a warm and welcoming heart and can be available at the Women's Table one or two services a month, we'd love for you to join this team. Women & Children's Ornament Workshop
Saturday, December 6, 10am-noon. Returning for our third year, this fun christmas tradition brings moms, grandmas, aunts, and all the kids together for a fun morning of Christmas Ornament Making. More details to be announced.

Women's Tea 2009
Saturday, March 7, 2009, 10am-noon.
Take some time for tea! Join the women's ministry for a morning of tea, meeting new friends, lots of laughter, and a special guest speaker. As we get closer to the date we will be looking for 14 hostesses to decorate their table in a theme of their choice with china, accessories, etc. More details to be announced.
