Prayer Quilt Ministry
Watch the power of prayer transform lives as we make quilts and pray for those in need. If you love to quilt (or would like to learn) or want to serve God through prayer, this ministry is for you. To volunteer or to request a prayer quilt, contact Valerie Balun at prayerquilts@thechurchatrb.org / 858.592.2434 x725. Quilting Sessions are held on Fridays, either 9am-3pm or 2-9pm.
Ever notice the quilts on the table just inside the front doors of the church? Do you wonder what the quilts are for, or why there seem to be new colors or patterns each week? Well, wonder no more! Each quilt is made by the volunteers of the Prayer Quilt Ministry, and each quilt is sewn specifically for a person who is ill or suffering due to a loss. You can get involved in this ministry by stopping by the table each week, tying a knot and saying a silent prayer for healing and comfort for the recipient of the quilt. Once all the ties are knotted, the quilt is given to the person who is suffering. Stop by and tie a knot on each quilt, say a prayer, and start changing lives today!
