Men's Ministry

Our Men's Ministry equips and encourages men to grow in their faith and to develop a character that changes our homes, marketplace and world for good.

Who among us hasn’t ever determined to make lasting change in some area of our life, only to find the task somewhat daunting when based solely on our own efforts? We can all probably relate to the fact that accomplishing those goals is much easier when we receive help and encouragement along the way.

That in essence is our goal in Men’s Ministry this year, to help facilitate “Crossover” into areas of personal development and fulfillment by following the Lord’s example. We’ll hear from individuals who have experienced His life-changing power, and have undergone an unmistakable ‘Transformation’ in their lives. Through their stories, we can all draw encouragement and inspiration.

Men's Small Groups

Men‘s Small Group: Band of Brothers
Tuesdays at CRB, 7-9pm
Open to new members anytime. Are you ready for some Brotherhood? The Band of Brothers is looking for a few of God’s men to join us as we continue on our weekly journey. If you are looking for lively discussion of men’s issues in a supportive, challenging, and Christian environment, you are welcome to join us. For more details, contact Roger Hindman at jrhindman@san.rr.com / 858.673.0523.

Place: The Living Room (backstage)
Materials Needed: A Bible
Enrollment: The nature of this new direction will allow men to join in at any point. Just bring your Bible and an open and willing mind to any Tuesday nights meeting. We pride ourselves on welcoming all newcomers with open arms. Our experience is that new faces bring new understandings and perspectives, which expands all of our knowledge and enhances our walk with the Lord.

Monday Night Bible Study, 5:30-6:30pm
Interested in strengthening your foundation? We've formed a Men's small group Bible study that is based on both individual and group study. Build strong relationships with other men while strengthening your knowledge of God's Word and applying it directly to all areas of your life. We work our way through the Bible a book at a time, covering both the Old and New Testaments.  The group meets weekly, Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30pm.  Come early for coffee & conversation! CRB Sports
The true meaning of sports is:
A. You, the remote control, and whatever game is on TV.
B. Leaving it all out on the field, so when the game's over, you know you had nothing left to give.
C. Good people, Good times, Good Exercise.
D. Golf. Do we have time for another 18?

If you answered A, B, C, or D then perhaps you might want to consider getting involved with CRB Sports. It's a great way to connect with others from CRB who just might feel the same way you do about the fact that work is really cutting into your putting time... CRB Sports. Get it started! No matter what the sport, whether it's getting in shape, playing a round of golf on the weekend, shooting hoops, or perhaps badminton, you can get it started. To find out how, contact Mark McDonough at mmcdonough@cox.net.
