Outreach - Serve Meals at Salvation Army
Living Water -Serve meals to the Homeless. Being homeless is not always a choice… feeding the homeless is. Once a month, CRB operates the downtown Salvation Army kitchen and dining facilities in order to prepare and serve a meal to our homeless neighbors. Ways to serve include (1) preparing sandwiches the day before, providing food supplies/clothing, etc (2) preparing and serving the meal, (3) distributing basic clothing needs and (4) offering dignity to people God loves. Training is “on the job”, and the most important skills required are a caring heart and the desire to experience the adventure of serving as Jesus’ representative. Appropriate for Ages Junior High and above.
